setRemoteCredentials() and assembler cfc

Inside the assembler cfc for a data service, what is the name of the scope and variables' names which correspond to username and password set by the setRemoteCredentials() method of a DataService?
Or does setRemoteCredentials() not apply to ColdFusion assemblers at all?
